Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Queen Contestant Rules
Each Queen contestant MUST:
1. Be a female who is a US Citizen and a resident of Pennsylvania.
2. Be at least age 16, but no older than 20 years of age as of June 1 of the year entering the local contest.
3. Be certified as the winner by the local fair where she was crowned.
4. Have not been a former local Fair Queen winner, nor a former PA Fair Queen contestant.
5. Not hold any other state title for any other commodity group or pageant during her reign.
6. Have her parent(s)’ or guardian(s)’ consent to enter the competition.
7. Be single, have never been married, have not been pregnant nor given birth to a child.
8. Act in accordance with the PA Fair Queen “Behavior Policy”. - See Below.
9. Meet all time commitments, Queen obligations and “Dress Code” as set forth by the PA Fair Queen Program & Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Queen, Jr. Miss, Princess, Jr. Princess, and Tiny Princess Contest. - See Below.
* In the event of her marriage, pregnancy or any other reason that would keep her from fulfilling her obligations during her reign as the Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Queen, the new Queen will relinquish her title, crown, privileges, all gifts, and will be succeeded by the First Runner Up.
Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Jr. Miss and Princess Contestant Rules
Each Jr. Miss and Princess contestant MUST:
1. Be a female who is a US Citizen and a resident of Pennsylvania.
2. Meet the age group requirements set forth.
3. Have parental or guardian consent.
4. Act in accordance with the PA Fair Queen “behavior policy”. - See Below.
5. Princess contestants are not permitted to wear make-up.
6. Follow Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Queen, Jr. Miss, Princess, Jr. Princess, and Tiny Princess Contest Dress Code and PA State Fair Queen Dress Code - See Below.
Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Jr. Princess & Tiny Princess Contestant Rules
Each Jr. Princess and Tiny Princess contestant MUST:
1. Be a female who is a US Citizen and a resident of Pennsylvania.

5. Jr. Princess & Tiny Princess contestants are not permitted to wear make-up.
6. Follow Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Queen, Jr. Miss, Princess, Jr. Princess, and Tiny Princess Contest Dress Code and PA State Fair Queen Dress Code - See Below.
Below are the official PA State Fair Queen Rules. All Fairs participating in the program must use all the contest rules listed below for their Queen’s contest. The same rules will be used in the state competition, which will take place in January in Hershey, PA. All contestants must comply with all the rules to be eligible for the competition. The PA Fair Queen Program is not responsible for any other rules that a Fair adds to the approved rules.

PA Fair Queen Program Dress Code

Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Queen, Jr. Miss, Princess, Jr. Princess, & Tiny Princess Contest is subject to the same Dress Code Policy. In addition, the Queen is permitted to wear formal gowns without straps. Dresses must pass the dollar bill rule. The Jr. Miss is permitted to wear semi-formal tee length dresses. No full length gowns. Dresses must pass the dollar bill rule. The Princess, Jr. Princess, & Tiny Princess is permitted to wear cotton dresses only. Nothing semi-formal, lacy, satin or tooling.
